Chemistry is one of my top subjects! Along with Calculus and Physics, Chemistry provides a challenge for most college students, and is usually the largest hurdle that University freshmen face. As a nuclear engineer, I was not required to study in Chemistry II, which governs bio-chemistry, and so if you are seeking specific tutelage in that area I am probably not the best to teach.
However, for the principals of Chemistry, which are widely applied to the other sciences, I will be able to effectively train you in how to use dimensional analysis, chemical equation balancing, and breaking down the problems in order to give you the most comprehensive toolbox possible to solve the more advanced problems.
Covalent bonds, chemical half-lives, aqueous solutions, and acid-base titration are just a few examples of what I can teach you in this subject.
Greetings one and all!
My name is Tristan, and I am a recent graduate of the University of Florida's College of Engineering as of August 2012. I graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Nuclear Engineering and a cumulative GPA of 3.25 (and I will tell you that I earned every point of it).
I am looking forward to using my knowledge and proficiency in various fields of math and science to make your four year slog through the rigors of academia as palpable as possible. I offer flexible hours, friendly demeanor, and a patient approach to tutoring that caters to your individual skill set. All of this comes at a reasonable price, which can of course be negotiated to suit your budget (remember, I was once a broke college student too).
In short: I work with you, for you, and on your terms!
I offer tutelage in many technical disciplines: Math, Science, and Engineering are my b ... read more
