As I prepared for Medical School, I wanted to achieve the most possible out of my undergraduate experience at Brigham Young University. I chose Biology as my major, knowing that it would challenge me. I took several courses in Biology and Chemistry in which I performed very well. I understand how frustrating the concepts in these subjects can be, so patience is what is needed to grasp them. I have helped several fellow classmates comprehend the concepts needed to do well on their exams and retain the information for the future.
I feel that repetition is one key that helps students grasp difficult concepts. I start by helping the student understand what the question is asking. I love learning and feel that all types of learning and knowledge increase our ability to more fully appreciate the beauties of life.
