A Little Bit About Me...

I attended Whitney Young High School and began tutoring while in school as a part of my volunteer service with the National Honor Society. I continued to teach while in college, and in fact, worked as a tutor part time. After college, I moved to Japan for one year and worked as an English teacher. When I returned to the United States, while attending law school, I was employed as a tutor for the LLM students.
I really love kids and I enjoy working with them. Throughout my years of experience, I have worked with students of all ages, from pre-school to adults. I understand that each person has their own unique style of learning, and I pride myself on being able to reach each student.

I have taught "Introduction to Business & Technology" since March, 2008 and was promoted to teaching two classes online in 8-week cycles as "adjunct professor" in mid-2010. I was promoted to "visiting professor" in 2011, and enjoy working with students who range broadly in ability. My greatest strength is in helping students to believe in their own ability through aspects of mentorship and encouragement.
