I believe everyone should be provided an opportunity to learn. I have used a lot of manipulatives to teach math techniques and seen a positive result of this. I also believe in using research based strategies to lead each child to their potential. I recieved my bachelor degree which helped my develop strategies to guide children with their reading comprehension as well as math skills. I have been a classroom teacher for three years. As a teacher I use a hands-on approach to give the students a realistic approach to learning. All students can learn and as a teacher I feel it is my job to bring the best out of any child. I have always had an interest in teaching. I graduated from college with my AA while working with the University of Michigan Department of Hospital Finance Training. From there I took some time off to finish my degrees. While going for my BA I worked with the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was elected President of the Auxiliary and of the District. I am presently finishing up my MBA while working at Convergys as a Trainer for at&t material and presently being trained as a virtual trainer.
