I enjoy teaching students how they learn. It is very important that students know their learning style. My goal is to help them learn how they best retain information. I believe that if a student is able to utilize all the senses that allow them to remember the information that they have received, it will build their confidence in the classroom and as they pursue higher education. As a student at Kansas State University, I have learned the importance of the pursuit of higher education. I have earned a BS in Psychology, an MS in Marriage and Family Therapy, and will pursue a PhD in Family Life Education and Consultation starting during the 2009-2010 school year. I have written a lot of essays and read numerous research papers. For over a year and a half, I have tutored students in English, psychology, mathematics and sciences.

I love working with kids and people of all ages. I believe that all people can learn, but each in different ways. I believe in taking the time to get to know the child and his/her learning behaviors and catering to the child. I strive to make a difference in as many peoples lives as I can. Growing up I was a very driven to get my masters in accounting. Once I graduated with my Bachelor of Science, I moved straight into getting my masters of business administration with a concentration in accounting. I developed a heart for young people at an early age, as my parents were missionaries to Native Americans. I truly believe that education has changed my life and promote higher education.
