Sculpting is one of my top subjects! I have a bachelors of fine arts in ceramics, a K through 12 teaching certification and a masters in art therapy.

I have 27 years of art teaching experience K through 12, special education, artistic learning, talented and gifted, and adult education. I am able to tutor and teach all areas of art and art history. I have recently graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint with a Bachelor of Science and teacher certification degree. I student taught during the fall '09 semester. Student teaching provided many opportunities to work on various teaching techniques. The student teaching semester consisted of; leading the class in discussion on a daily basis, creating worksheets, conducting lab experiments and other activities, grading homework and tests, and much more. I created and taught four lessons during the observation semester. I have also been involved in teaching and tutoring a college chemistry class under the supervision of a college professor.
