My comments on tutoring SAT - Math : I specialize in math and science preparation. The first thing I do is find out the strong/weak areas of the student and focus on the areas that need the most improvement. I also use sample tests and test questions.

Adjusts accordingly with the needs of the student.

A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy teaching groups as well as one on one sessions. I believe teaching in a group can be exceptionally helpful as children have the opportunity to not only learn from their designated teacher but also from each other. I enjoy working with all kinds of children and of any age. Teaching children individually is also extremely rewarding as one can give them his/her undivided attention. A Little Bit About Me...

I was a teaching assistant during my graduate school, from 1975 to 1980. I was assisting in College level Mathematics courses, including Algebra, Calculus, CAE applications. The only other experience I had was in assisting my kids during their high school studies and did not do a bad job. One of them is a Hardare Test and Validation Engineer at Intel, Portland, Oregon and the other one is doing Medicine at U. Of M.
Tutoring a student who is not doing too good in his subject is not a one or two class job. I will plan the need depending on the versatility, devotion and perseverence to learn. I love to see the results of my tutoring. I blieve that with proper guidance, correct speed, technique, and hardship any student can be brought to succeed in their ambition.
