I have worked in the automotive industry from 1995-2007. In 2007, I took a buyout from Ford in order to stay home full time with my two children. I went back to Ford Motor Co. in 2013, working part-time. My Bachelor's Degree is from University of Michigan in Electrical Engineering. My main focus is tutoring math. I have recently graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint with a Bachelor of Science and teacher certification degree. I student taught during the fall '09 semester. The one thing that I observed about the learning process, is that a person quickly grasps a concept if he/she is interested, or the topic is thoughtful and challenges the wit of a person and lastly, a person is very comfortable in learning through his/her friends. Nobody is stupid not to grasp a concept. It is the methodology, technique and feeling of comfort and interest, that is required. Hence I try to be affable and was more involved. A picturization or a real life example is more likely to fit in a person's mind. I used this technique and was very successful.
