As far as I can remember I have always appreciated quality education. As a small boy I remember going to the small local library in Portsmouth, Virginia where the Librarian once said that she knew that if she would only have one patron for the day that it would be me. I have worked in three libraries during my career. During college I was selected as a Librarian Assitant based on my interest, academic achievement and overall poitive conduct at the university. After college later on in my carer after college I worked at both the Main Branch and one of the other locations in the City of Richmond, Virginia. I believe that education is key to success early in life and that a good education make a sound foundation for later success in life. I am a creative teacher, meaning that I assess the individual and do not have an agenda that I adhere to. Normally, I am able to advance a child a grade level in reading with three months of tutoring and reinforcing homework, during the summer. However, I will go the extra mile to help a student be able to totally understand what I am trying to help them learn.
