I have a BS in social science from Longwood University and a Master's of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Interactive as well as practical 1st I teach the grammatical aspect 2nd put to practice the lesson by a) doing practical exercises and b) interactive (students will repeat pronounciations with me and then practice with each other in groups or with partners)I will go to each group and listen to them and make corrections if need be 3rd I will instruct a student individually during the practical exercises or group sessions when I feel a student is not capturing an aspect of a lesson (understanding, pronounciation or grammatical)

A Little Bit About Me...

The most important skill I can teach someone is how. I believe in not only helping students to understand the material but instilling in them a joy of learning. I want students to understand how to get to the answers, why the answers are correct and how to do it themselves. This skill boosts self esteem and confidence. I also believe that it is very important to teach study skills and techniques that can be applied to master any subject or exam. Sometimes students get overwhelmed, but one of the most important things a student can learn is how to plan ahead and use their time efficiently. These skills can then be applied to any subject both inside and outside the classroom.
