I prefer to incorporate student participation as much as possible instead of giving lecture-style instruction to learn their unique learning styles and to understand more about my students. With this understanding, I will be able to understand how I can better instruct them and test them on the material being taught.
I have studied the indicated fields for over two years at high school and university levels. Also, I have taught English as a Second Language as an intern while studying abroad in London for one semester. I've been an avid, life-long reader and writer. I never intended to become a teacher until I began to work with children who have autism. A Little Bit About Me...

I began my study of American Sign Language (ASL) at the tender age of 12, then studied Latin in high school with Mrs. Ellen Conrad. When I reached college, I continued my study of ASL while tutoring friends in Latin. I have studied Arabic and Irish Gaelic at the college level, and dabbled in Spanish, Hawaiian Creole, and various African languages. In addition to learning, I love to teach. I began teaching ASL while I was still a high school student, and continue tutoring friends in ASL and Latin. As a college student, I began teaching and coaching fencing to all age groups, but specifically students in grades 6-12.
