Sign Language Tutoring

It is commonly thought today that each spoken language has a sign language counterpart. Having trouble understanding, communicating or interpreting? Select a tutor today for help. Some think that sign language preceded spoken language, and just as there are foreign languages, dialects and accents there are also variances in signing. Tutors are waiting to be selected to help with your needs. Parents of deaf children should introduce them to language as early as possible because the earlier a child is exposed to and acquires language skills the better the communication skills will become. I enjoy working with children. I know all children can learn in one way. I was team leader in AmeriCorps. As I held the leadership position in AmeriCorps, I know I have the patience to help each and every child to succeed. As an assistant teacher, I earned my AA in Elementary Education/ Early Childhood. I continued my education on and received my BA in Social Science in 2009 from Ashford University. I have learned how to teach a student through my experience in working with students.

I tutored at the local elementary school for two summers straigth and absolutely loved it. Children are a joy to work with becuase they are eager to learn. I feel that if you make it interesting for a child then their learning experience becomes something that they won't forget. After I graduated high school I went to a community college just to get the feel of college. I decided to major in speech because I was interested in correct speech. Not only how words were pronounced but also what mechanisms that are used to produce correct speech. I went on to Delta State University to pursue my Bachelor's in Speech and Hearing, and might I add they had a spectacular program. I learned a lot more than what makes a person have a speech disorder.
