Graphic Design is one of my top subjects!

I have helped out several of my friends and family members, with everything from studying to hands on projects. I am looking to expand this help to others, and I also believe it will be a rewarding experience for myself. I, myself, enjoy the learning experience a lot, and hope to help others also find a way to enjoy their learning experience.
I have many different teaching tactics depending on how someone prefers to learn. Some people are visual learners, and need the assistance of visual aids and presentations. Others like to learn about things by doing them. However someone enjoys learning, I believe is the best method.

I will show the student how to do the steps of designing something but make sure that they are doing the clicking on their own computer. I won't take over there mouse or computer and show them. I feel you learn more when you physically perform the tasks yourself while you watch and listen.
I received my Bachelors of Fine Art in Visual Communications from the Art Institute of Michigan. I've designed a logo and business card for a restaurant that has opened in my city and also have done some digital artwork and hand drawn art work that hangs on the walls inside. I've designed a book cover for a published book that is available online. I free lance my graphic design skills whenever I can. I have earned a bachelor degrees in Electrical Engineering and minor in mathematics in 2004. I am currently working on my master degree in Electrical Engineering at Oakland University. While I was doing my bachelor degree, I had a job in the computer lab as tutor and mentor for students in C programming assignments and Unix lab related problems. Many people have different teaching skills and techniques. I do not believe any technique to educate a child is better than any other technique. Each child learns differently. Understanding the fact that children learn differently is crucial. The teacher must be able to adapt to the child's learning style. I believe I have the ability to use an array of teaching styles to help children. I would enjoy the opportunity to help children learn.
As a student at the University of Detroit Mercy, I worked as a tutor for two years. I helped other students struggling in mathematics and biology classes. Also, my senior year in college I worked as a Teaching Assistant for a Microbiolgy lab. In addition, I did student teaching for a Catholic Middle School.
