I love to work with students of all ages. I am a patient teacher and try to tailor my teaching style to the progress of my student. I prefer to promote understanding through the use of work sheets, tutorials, and real world examples, rather then simply relying on memorization. I have a good sense of humor and believe that constructive learning environments are both challenging and light-hearted.
I studied creative writing at the SC Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities in Greenville SC. There I studied poetry, play writing, grammar, editing, fiction, and creative nonfiction. I won two national scholastic writing awards for my writing. I also studied at Rice University which is a highly selective university in Houston Texas. Teaching style involves organized and systematic approach to biology. I have been a student of two major universities one of which involved taking medical school classes and will bring the same approach I use myself and translate it to the student as much as possible to ensure that the perfect study plan and strategy is found to achieve the performance that is necessary. I have experiences and used multiple learning techniques myself and will teaching these techniques and study habits to ensure peak performance.
I have graduated from two major universities and will attend medical school at Nova Southeastern University in August 2011.
