I started out my teaching career as a reading specialist for struggling readers in grades 1 through 6. I am trained in a program called Next Steps, which was designed by educators at the University of Utah, for readers below grade level. All of the students that I tutored saw significant improvements in reading and writing by the end of the school year. I then moved on to become a regular first grade teacher for two years. Throughout high school, I had trouble trying to figure out what I wanted to do when I graduated. I took many classes that ranged from Weight Training to Biology. I took many Art classes in which I excelled at. I then took some Computer Technology classes and I loved it. So I figured I would put the two together and took Graphic Design classes. I loved it.
