Since I began teaching, I have taught students from age 6 to age 24. I am always sure to use the full time slot available to me as efficiently and effectively as possible. I do demand outside preparation from my students. When tutoring math, I demand that my students have read and attempted the problems we will cover. One of my goals in teaching math is to facilitate neat and concise compuation. As a music teacher, I demand daily practice from my students. Finally, I enjoy teaching children of all levels. To successfully teach,a tutor must first assess the individuals intellect,tastes and expectations.I am convinced that if a student can count and know the alphabet from A -G,they too can learn to play an instrument.Physical and mental obstacles are only a minor hurdle in learning to play.
