I love to educate children of many ages I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old in the house. You teach many different aspects of life, not just academically. Being a tutor for grades 6-8 was different because they had the basics. They needed to be informed and focused. Substitute teaching grades K-8 was rather different because the children acted as though they haven't learned anything, so you had to make them feel comfortable. I love teaching with repetition and visual. With patience, understanding, and love a child can learn anything.

I believe as an educator you have to understand the topic you are teaching and the students your are teaching. As a teacher you are dealing with various levels of learning as well different personalities. I believe you have to be open to what works for the individual and the classroom. Many young students do not understand why they must learn and why it is important. We as educators must show students how education applies to all life, especially theirs. I have held Physics, Earth science, Chemistry and Biology appointments in the years that followed in a variety of School districts throughout the state.
