I thoroughly enjoy helping students to gain a good understanding of their topics of study. I am very patient, and work hard to make sure that the student is comfortable in our sessions and with asking me questions. However, I firmly believe that in order to learn, a student must make an effort outside of our tutoring sessions. Teaching is not something I had initially aspired to but found I am a teacher and motivator by nature. I love the challenge of figuring what pieces, educational, each student is missing and helping them fill the their gaps to reach the next level and have things come together for them. It has been said that no one rises to low expectations. I believe that every child CAN learn, but that the process of teaching each child must vary depending on their learning style.
