My comments on tutoring Pre-Calculus : I am a Tennessee licensed and certified mathematics teacher for grades 7-12. I have 8 years experience teaching at the high school level. I am a very energetic teacher, and I try to incorporate as much FUN into learning as I can. Tutoring students and resolving confusion are simply additional problems to solve in math. Since many students learn in different ways, one must be able to explain the same concept in various ways. The development of these alternate methods of description is a great way for not only the student to learn but also for the tutor to better understand the material.
