My teaching style varies depending upon the needs of the child. I am patient and aware of many students’ stress around math. My goal is to improve each student’s basic understanding and confidence and to increase her or his enjoyment of learning. A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching is a passion to me and I have a sense of accomplishment when I share or give back what I have been privilleged to acquire in my studies of sciences and math. I teach by example. For instance I will know that my students have understood when they perform a return demonstration. I am a nice guy and work with my students by establishing a sound relationships based on mutual trust. I always enjoyed teaching mathematics topics such as Calculus to students. That subject in particular is needed for many applied fields in which several (engineering, physics, actuarial science) I have both working and educational experience in. I tutored for three years in various mathematics subjects at Penn State.
I enjoy teaching adults and young adults who may be in high school or college. You can always find a way to relate the material to the student, and that is the key for them not just to understand it but care about it and have motivation. Such distracted or unprivileged students just need someone to sit down with them and break the teachings down for them.
