Over 15 years experience-Master's Degree K-8

I have been tutoring all subjects K-8 for over 15 years. I am a certified teacher and currently teach 6th grade. I worked at Sylvan Learning Center for over a year before becoming a private tutor. I have been very pleased with the results I have seen with private tutoring. References are available on request.
I think lots of modeling and review of the concepts being taught is essential. I want the student to observe the modeling and then for me to guide them through the learning of the concepts. Students should be fully engaged in order to gain a full understanding.

As a native French speaker who graduated from the University of Kansas with a Master in Urban Planning and a BA in Political Science. I have tutored students in French and English as a second language. Prior to obtaining my BA, I tutored high school students for a year in Kansas City. I can relate to students struggling to learn a language as I did when I started learning English, which turned out to be quite challenging for me.
