Students in the classroom and those tutored privately all Comment that my teaching style makes learning and mastering each subject so much easier than they have found from other teachers. My comments on tutoring GED : Work extensively with adult learners.

After attending (and teaching in) a graduate program in American/British Literature and Language at L.S.U., I realized that my true calling was teaching. I began teaching English, Journalism, S.A.T. Prep., Latin, and other subjects in Springfield, MA in 2003 in an alternative, urban high school. I taught (and tutored after school) until I moved to Florida in 2009, when my spouse began graduate studies at U.S.F. Each individual has a distinct learning style which must be recognized in order to promote and facilitate better learning and achievement, it is essential that a teaching style in the format of tutoring match the students learning style.
Have experience in all subjects listed as I have completed these courses myself; as a communications major I've worked in public relations and media though I have extensive freelance writing experience. I am an honors graduate of U.S.F. with forty years of teaching experience. In addition to my B.A. and M.A. degrees, I completed all cousework for the ED.D. I have taught FCAT preperation in middle school in math and reading. I have also taught GED Prep in the evenings. I taught junior high math one year. I have also written two books.
