I have been involved with the field of performing arts for over 15 years. Itrained with the former head of Vocal Performance at Florida State prior to competing in the Miss Florida Pageant. I also trained in ballet and gymnastics at The Ron Gallimore Olympic trainign Center. My back ground in the fields of dance and vocal performance have led to many exciting opportunities. I am an accomplished songwriter who has copy written works registerd with the US patent office. A Little Bit About Me...

I started teaching professionally in Tampa, Florida in 1992. I continued to teach in the Florida Public Schools until 1999 before I returned to school to earn my Master's. Now, I teach English to Adults at Wallace Community College, which I have been doing since 2003. I love what I do. When I got my Master's in 2005, I was able to conduct classroom research which enabled me to reach a deeper level in the principles of both linguistics and the science of learning. In 2008, I published my first book. I currently write a monthly article for the "MundoLatino" newspaper. Occasionally, I do contract work as a proofreader.
