have a BA and teaching degree. I can teach social Studies, English Grammar, reading, Italian Latin and Spanish. I have taught 7th and 8th graders. I prefer teaching at the Warren, public library and most interested in helping students to learn and to make progress kn language course, Spanish, Italian or Spanish. A Little Bit About Me...

At Adult Basic and Literature Education, I serve as a math and grammar tutor in the GED and ESOL programs. Also, I assist the students on how to obtain basic computer techniques so that they can operate the computer. I am able to communicate with Spanish-speaking students and read French. As for my technical, web designing, and software knowledge, I have a background in computer troubleshooting, Adobe Photoshop, HMTL, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etcetera. For five years, I was a substitute teacher for grades K-5 in English as a Second Language, Special Education and Art classes. I used my communication skills to converse with and to translate Spanish/English language. I have a great joy in teaching student new skills and information and love to see how they catch on, in other words, have that light bulb moment.

I Have been a teacher since 2002. I have had various experience in teaching students diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, OCD, PDD, ODD, as well as other learning, social, emotional, and behavioral disabilities. I tutored fellow students regularly in Spanish, French, and German all 4 years of college, as I studied in Europe and Mexico, and was placed in advanced college levels my first semester in college. In the garment industry I used Spanish daily with subcontractors. In the hospitality industry I was used as a greeter for foreign language conventions, and to interpret foreign language E-mails. I spent 6 weeks as a 3rd grade Spanish student teacher in college, and the students were sad I was leaving-they loved Spanish while I was there. I am a believer in incorporating 'play acting' scenarios as part of teaching and of breaking down sentences, phrases, and words that more deeply imbed the logic behind the way the language is spoken.
