Ever since graduating from college and moving to Chicago I make time during my week to volunteer at the Chicago Temple in the Loop to help a child develop reading and comprehension skills in the English language. As the first in my family to go to college, I had a high drive to achieve my goals of obtaining my degree at Grand Valley State University, as well as studying abroad in Tokyo, Japan. In addition to my wide degree of historical knowledge, I also served as an independent English Conversation tutor in Tokyo, Japan while I studied at the International Christian University.
I am a very hands-on instructor, being heavily influenced from the Montessori education I received.
