I began tutoring students (middle school and elementary school) during a stint in Americorps (2002), and continue to tutor my own ESL students today. My strength is in teaching writing, specifically writing for standardized tests. I feel very comfortable teaching all areas of language arts, reading, study skills, and test preparation.
