I tutored while in college, and I interned at an elementary school in Japan teaching English. I work well with children as well teenagers. I mostly have experience tutoring Japanese, but I have leisurely taught many people on a range of many topics ranging from a short lecture on ancient art to sewing.

I am a recently retired teacher. I have taught at all levels preK through high school and with diverse populations, including overseas. A Little Bit About Me...

I have sons ages 17 and 20, and continually took an active role in fostering their education. From the time they first set foot in kindergarten, through high school, I regularly volunteered, supporting their and the schools’ needs. I assisted in the classroom, chaperoned field trips, dances, etc., planned and participated at parties, special events and any role that could make a small difference. I am especially sensitive to the needs of students with disabilities, particularly those with ADD or similar issues. I am a graduate of Brigham Young University with a BA in English. Psychology and child development were part of my curriculum. When our children were all in school, I started substitute teaching K-12. I especially enjoyed working with K-5. I have worked as a substitute, permanent substitute and teaching assistant for about 13 years in the Concord School District (NH) and the Provo School District (UT). A Little Bit About Me...

I was a volunteer to teach Religion in a At Risk school. Also since starting my program at Cardinal Stritch University, I've been placed in a couple of schools and have taught along with the regular teacher. My goal is to be a teacher that can motivate students in their learning and to become sucessful students.
