A Little Bit About Me...

I am a practicing engineer on my way to a career change to the education field. I have been volunteering in high schools, tutoring, and attending teaching instruction workshops over the last several years. This fall (2010) I will begin teaching credential studies at either St. Mary's University (Moraga)or Santa Clara University (Santa Clara). My subject areas are to be, initially at least, math and physics. I taught some math lessons this spring at a San Jose High School and have been tutoring in calculus and statistics to high school students.
I have an assignment to complete over the summer regarding a teaching commitment I made at a recent teaching 'camp' I attended in southern California.
