Spanish is one of my top subjects! I have been studying Spanish for about 7 years now, along with having first-hand experience in using the language while studying in Valencia, Spain. I have a great passion for foreign languages and I love teaching those who want to learn as well.

Beginning with the basic classes, I have had more than 7 years of experience in studying foreign languages, and I developed a passion for them ever since. Currently I am in my last year at Kent State University, where I am earning my Bachelor´s Degree in Spanish Translation, along with a specialty in International Relations. Mandarin Chinese has also been an important part of my college education. In the spring of 2014, I was fortunate enough to study abroad in Valencia, Spain, where I spent 6 months taking intensive language and translation courses, as well as getting a first-hand experience in using the language with native speakers.

Spanish is my first language and many people asked for help during the past two years and they got really good grades with my help. There's no better way to learn Spanish than talking to me!

I like to talk, talk and talk. That's the best way to learn a language.
I am from Spain and I lived there the past 18 years. I had being tutoring for two years here in Ohio. All my students got really good grades. Making the learning session interactive makes a world of difference in teaching a language, and I find that incorporating play-acting into a learning session excites and motivates the student. Using the list of vocabulary words and rules of grammer the student is currently in the process of learning, I like to create a scenario with the student, stand up and walk away from the table, and pretend that we are actually at the dentist, the grocery store, etc. I also like to use topics that relate to the student's age and environment, thereby make the language 'real' to them.
