I analyzed and processed the water of streams, ponds, creeks and run-offs under the Appomattox River Water Quality Monitoring Program through Longwood University and the Department of Environmental Quality and Environmental Protection Agency closely monitoring levels of Escherichia Coli and heterotrophic bacteria. The most important skill I can teach someone is how. I believe in not only helping students to understand the material but instilling in them a joy of learning. I want students to understand how to get to the answers, why the answers are correct and how to do it themselves. This skill boosts self esteem and confidence. I also believe that it is very important to teach study skills and techniques that can be applied to master any subject or exam.
