My name is Kaitlyn. I am passionate about languages and cultures and therefore am enthusiastic about assisting others on their journey in learning to speak, read and write a foreign language. I can relate to the dedication and drive that is required while pursuing any language, as I have just recently graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. Never stop pushing yourself to learn

I have taught a large array of children and adults, anywhere from a 2nd grader struggling with reading to adult Burmese refugees. I have the patience and flexibility to successfully work with anyone. I started tutoring when I was around the age of 13. I taught a young Korean girl English, where I would have to create my own lesson plans. While I attended Okemos high school, I partook in volunteering experiences that dealt with tutoring. For two years, I was placed at an elementary school where I would tutor 1st-5th graders biweekly with anything from basic math to practice with reading.
