In the many years that I have been working since high school, I have always been a trainer for each company I have worked for. I have also been a Sunday School teacher for over 5 years. A Little Bit About Me...

As a Business Consultant over the past 20 years I have taught computer and business applications to over 50 business employees. I have extensive experience in fund accounting and grant administration. While in college I tutored finite and basic math in a work study program. I have found that I have a unique ability to teach students who have learning disabilities. I have the ability to read how a student learns and change to their abilities. I began my college education majoring in Special Education and changed to Business later when I realized I was suited for one on one teaching.

I currently teach at a small K-12 school where I taught business classes. My current course load includes Introduction to Career, Business Management, Business Math, Accounting, and Work-based Learning. I am also the director of the Stratford Alternative Education Program. This program allows me to help students complete courses such as Chemistry, Biology, and Algebra so they may receive a state diploma. Working in a K-12 environment has helped me gain a better understanding of the cognitive development and thought processes. I have enjoyed working with the students not only in the academic realm, but also behaviorally, socially, and emotionally.
