I genuinely enjoy helping all people, be it in the workplace or in the academic atmosphere. My teaching style is similar to my communication style - friendly and driven. It is important for students to reach the sense of satisfaction that one gets when he or she solves a problem or overcomes an obstacle on their own. I have been working with children ever since I can remember. I love to engage in creative activities with children while helping them utilize their strengths to overcome their limitations. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2007 from SUNY Brockport with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, English and Special Education. I have worked as a substitute teacher in all grade levels and in all subject areas. I have been accepted into a high degree Masters program but feel I need to have a job to justify the repayment(s) of additional student loans that would be needed to finish my MA.
