My experience tutoring Math and Science is extensive. I started formally tutoring Chemistry in 1996 as a chemistry tutor. Throughout my Bachelor's and Master's degrees I tutored students independently. This helped me develop a wider range of approaches with which to help different students learn. Since I am a visual learner, whenever applicable I like to visually bring the material to life. It is important to me that the student understand the concepts and be able to convey that understanding without having to refer to the textbook. With this in mind, I will go through the concepts with the students and follow that up with asking them to explain everything back to me.
