I have my Master's Degree in Education: Instructional Design and a Bachelor's in Business Management and Industry. I was Training then Senior Training Coordinator for the UMASS Donahue Institute in Boston from 1991-1998. I made a decision to stop working to be with my 2 children. During the time at home with my children, I was dedicated to volunteering in my children's classes and creating/directing VIBES at the Burnell Elementary School from 2001-2007. From 2010 to present I have been a substitute teacher for grades pre-k through 3 for the Bridgewater-Raynham School District. Careful reinforcement of the Correct method will ensure Remembrance and Results. Also, Lessons must be approached within the context of the Big Picture. Students need to realize that there are no pointless or forgettable sections. Basically, communication is key followed by practice, reinforcement, more practice. Learning can be at pace, but laziness and whining will not be tolerated. I have a Bachelor of Art in History, predominantly American. I also pursued Engineering for my first year and plan to go back to College. I have completed through Calculus II and am also experienced in hands-on mechanical. I have limited tutoring experience, but I know I can listen and respond. Any experience came from helping others in classes during College.
