Enthusiastic teacher seeks to work with a young mind

I've worked in the ESL (or related) field for a total of 8 years. I was a Foreign Language Expert in China for 3 years and am finishing my 4th year as a rater for the TOEFL exam. I also taught Spanish for a year. I've worked with all ages of students as well (Pre-K to College age). I have been in the education/mentoring field for over 11 years.
I'm laid back and like to draw the student's interests. I love small details and histories and to make a student think.

Learning is an awesome tool when you have the ability to understand and use it in your surroundings. This is my goal for every student. I've taught in many different ways: classroom, small groups, one-on-one, multi-level and specific levels in ESL. I would say my teaching style is more relaxed. I believe this helps one see students weaknesses and strengths better. It also allows one to compare the overall effect of teaching for each student. When I see a student falling behind then thats when I take action and try top get them where they should be in that area.
My experience is one that has taken me many different places to meet many diffrent people. I have always had a gift of helping others and conveying to them my knowledge. I obtained my BA in English Communication from Talladega College and also i have a minor in History. I have had a great deal of expereince in writng papers, essays, articles ,and reports. During my time in college, I also tutored Spanish speaking students in the usuage of the English language.
