I have tutored in high school. After getting to college, I tutored on campus for four years in subject areas: Math, English, and Spanish. I have taken a few education courses. I have taught a lesson at a high school. I have also been introduced to different techniques/ways of teaching. Some people have a fear of math, but I love it and enjoy teaching it. I have been blessed to be able to teach it in a way that has helped many students and I hope to help you in any way that I can! :) I enjoy explaining certain concepts and then I may give the student a few problems to work on their own. In general, I like to assist the student visually and with real-life examples of how subjects such as chemistry, physics, and math can be applied to everyday life. My goal is to make learning fun not by lecturing, but encouraging the student to get involved and ask questions. Situations do arise when it is beneficial to lecture and let the student "soak up" knowledge through diagrams and examples on the board.
