In May I will graduate with a BA in Chemistry and will be 3 credit hrs away from a BA in Mathematics at the University of Tulsa. I have also completed a minor in English and am 3 credit hours away from a minor in Physics. I have twice presented research at the American Chemical Society national conference in San Diego and New Orleans. I have been an Editorial Board Member for Nimrod Magazine, an international literary magazine based out of the Univ. of Tulsa, since 2008. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Georgia in 2000, I went on to study Poetry with renowned poets Bill Knott and John Skoyles at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. Upon finishing my thesis I moved to Oklahoma to be close to my family, where I continued pursuing my literary interests by volunteering my services to read for international literary journal Nimrod, published out of the University of Tulsa.
