Certified Teacher Looking To Help Others As A Tutor

I prefer to have materials prepared prior to any tutoring session so communication ahead of time will be essential. If I have an idea of what is expected of me then I am able to help modify the session to fit the learner. I like to use both direct teach as well as discussion to help guide the tutoring session.

My teaching style spans two decades, and many hundreds of students. In that time, I have learned that individual students have individual learning styles. In regards to my favorite subject, history, I believe it is best taught by focusing on the ‘story’ aspect of it.
