As a design student, and throughout my life, I have held the ability to grasp new concepts in multiple subjects with very little difficulty. Although each child may pursue differnet educational opportunities in later years, I believe that there is a core body of knowledge, presented to us in the curriculum, that each can and should be exposed to while they are in the lower. However, I realize that all children do not learn new concepts and strategies by the same methods or at the same rate as one another.
