I started teaching Sunday School when I was in Junior High. I taught a little boy in my class how to read and it was the most rewarding experience I have ever encountered. As aforementioned, throughout high school, I began tutoring students in Math, English, Spanish, Science, and History. I tutored one 6th grade student who was ADHD. I taught Court Reporting English (4 levels) for a private college in Bakersfield, CA., from 1986-1990. I have been tutoring students in English off and on for the past 18 years. Teaching-tutoring has always been an avocation rather than my vocation. I have some spare evening time and would like to continue to tutor.
