I approach every student as a unique individual with his or her own struggles. In general, I teach mathematics in a direct and simple way. I do not treat the subject as a game or a bag of tricks. My degree in History/Political Science allowed me to be something of a jack-of-all trades in respect to my career. I have done both office work and factory work as well as customer service. However, my last job is perhaps most relevant to this position, because I was in South Korea for 3 1/2 years teaching English to South Korean children ages 5 to 15.
