My objective is to make it a objective that every student that I teach will come to understand what it is that they are trying to learn. I have tons of experience tutoring in elementary, middle and high school settings. I have tutored students in groups as well as individuals alone. I am a certified teacher with a degree in Spanish with high school teaching experience in Geometry as well. I am in the process of adding Math on to my licensure.

I have been tutoring since I was in high school. Between that and teaching Sunday School and Children's Church, I have more than ten years of experience. I have tutored children whose ages range from elementary school to high school. I have also tutored adults to help with college classes and help prepare for GED tests. I teach the Bible to children whose ages range from newborn to eight years. This depends on the student and his or her individual needs. I am a graduate of Chowan University with a BA in Mathematics. While at Chowan I was one of the lead math tutors where I tutored college students in college algebra, intro to college algebra, applied calculus, and a few local high school students in geometry. One of my favorite levels of math was Pre-Alebra. I aced this class with an A. I love math! I have always gained a quick understanding of math, and have enjoyed it throughout my whole experience throughout school. I enjoy working with numbers. I took higher math courses in middle school, and when I completed Early College I was also taking higher math on the college side. I took pre-Calculus on the college side, and skipped over AFM. I would describe my teaching style as friendly. I try not to give off so much of teacher-student type atmosphere, because many children get discouraged and are not as comfortable and not as willing to learn. I am currently a high school junior. I have four children of my own and home schooled each one through elementary school and some middle school. They returned to public school for middle school where I then provided tutoring for other classmates. I know sometimes math as well and other subjects come harder for one than the other so I realize the tutoring session needs to be geared toward that particular child. I love to teach by using the hands on technique. I will do whatever I can to see that the student grasp what is being taught. I 19 and have an Associate in Science and an Associate in Arts.
