World History is one of my top subjects! I have a History major in secondary education and really like World History.

It is my intention to provide each student with a safe learning environment. Within this environment, individuals will be allowed the freedom to express their views, while respecting the rights of all others. I will maintain an eclectic view on teaching methods and philosophies, based on which approach best addresses the learning styles and specific needs of each individual student. My experience in education has been wide and full of variety. I began working as a linguistics tutor for the university. I worked with several students over the course of the two years in which I worked for the department. I began my field work at Mt. Morris Junior High School performing my observations. I completed my student teaching at Lapeer West High School, before graduating with a BA in Secondary Education. There, I taught English 12, Mythology, and, perhaps most beneficial to my experience, Literacy Skills, where I was able to work with many students with diverse reading and age levels. I currently work for the Lapeer Family Literacy Center.
