I am currently the program counselor for a Federal Grant through the Department of Education. My role as counselor is centered on individuals with various skills and abilities who are working to gain basic community and employment related skills. My educational background consists of an Associates of Art degree in Social Work and a Bachelor of Science degree in Child, Adult, and Family Services. I graduated with a B.S. degree in early childhood education from Iowa State University in 2004. As a result, I have had the chance to substitute teach and tutor in Iowa and California. While substitute teaching, I had the opportunity to work in various classrooms at all age levels and subjects. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is that I believe all students can learn but that there are different learning styles and we must match the correct learning style with the student.
