I enjoy teaching math because its something you use in every day life. When it comes to math, I am easy going and patient because I know how stressful math can be if you are struggling with it. I love having the skill to be able to teach another person that skill. In the past, I have used analogies to help students to understand. I have a BS in Physics, Magna Cum Laude, and I specialized in astrophysics. As an undergraduate, I tutored mathematics at all levels from beginning algebra to calculus as well as the engineering physics sequence. I was a Teaching Assistant for lower division astronomy and physics labs, providing hands-on instruction as well as giving lectures. Completion of a BSBA degree in Management of Information Systems has given me valuable experience in a wide array of business functions as well as a team based and case driven experience over four years.
