A Little Bit About Me...

I recently have spent the last six months in the Head Start Program as a center teacher. We prepare them for kindergarten. I have taught all grade levels. I currently have a BA with a concentration in K-8 education. Due to online classes, I have written hundreds of research and essay papers using APA style although I have helped my son use MLA which I can write in effectively.
Teaching mainly K-8 on a consistent schedule, I have learned that some students need one-on-one teaching. Being the third teacher in Head Start, I had time to work with individual students. I graduated with an Elementary Teaching Degree from a small university in Michigan. Immediately, I went south to New Orleans to assist in the application of an after school program for inner city students. After this semester, I moved to Accra, Ghana in West Africa for three years.
