I have helped out several of my friends and family members, with everything from studying to hands on projects. I am looking to expand this help to others, and I also believe it will be a rewarding experience for myself. I, myself, enjoy the learning experience a lot, and hope to help others also find a way to enjoy their learning experience. I have many different teaching tactics depending on how someone prefers to learn. Some people are visual learners, and need the assistance of visual aids and presentations. I received my Bachelors of Fine Art in Visual Communications from the Art Institute of Michigan. I've designed a logo and business card for a restaurant that has opened in my city and also have done some digital artwork and hand drawn art work that hangs on the walls inside. I've designed a book cover for a published book that is available online. I free lance my graphic design skills whenever I can. I currently work as an Operations Supervisor at Office Max, which is essentially the third manager in the store. I will show the student how to do the steps of designing something but make sure that they are doing the clicking on their own computer. I won't take over there mouse or computer and show them. I feel you learn more when you physically perform the tasks yourself while you watch and listen.

I have earned a bachelor degrees in Electrical Engineering and minor in mathematics in 2004. I am currently working on my master degree in Electrical Engineering at Oakland University. While I was doing my bachelor degree, I had a job in the computer lab as tutor and mentor for students in C programming assignments and Unix lab related problems. I worked at Chrysler LLC from 2004 to 2010 in the information technology department as a Datacenter Facilities Engineer, I was in charge of training and orientation of new emplyees on networking, plant technology maintenance and union compliance. As a student at the University of Detroit Mercy, I worked as a tutor for two years. I helped other students struggling in mathematics and biology classes. Also, my senior year in college I worked as a Teaching Assistant for a Microbiolgy lab. In addition, I did student teaching for a Catholic Middle School. Many people have different teaching skills and techniques. I do not believe any technique to educate a child is better than any other technique. Each child learns differently.
