Also taught Preschool, After School Care Programs, Summer Camps, Day Camps. Other Teaching Experience: Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, 5 Day Clubs.

Teach child as a whole person understanding we need trust and confidence to truly reach our potential. STUDENTS HAVE TROUBLE LEARNING WHEN TRUST BREAKS DOWN AND THEY ARE AFRAID TO EXPOSE WEAKNESSES OR ASK QUESTIONS. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a BS in Elementary Education, I received my first teaching position as a special education teacher in the Rockford School District, 205. After two years, I moved into a 6th grade position, teaching Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. I received my Master's degree from Walden University in Middle Level Education with areas of concentration in Language Arts and Social Studies. I went on to teach 7th and 8th grade Language Arts. I am Title 1 certified and have 20 additional hours of training in the education field.
The description of my teaching style changes with each new class I receive. I am a strong believer in the Multiple Intelligence approach to teaching, as individual students learn in many different ways. Illinois State University is well known for their education program. Graduating from this university has filled me with pride and confidence in my ability to teach. I have taken many methods classes in which they taught me how to teach lessons in Math, Science, Reading, Social Studies, Special Needs students, and Literacy. Also, I have taken many Spanish classes in college along with general education classes in biology, psychology, and mathematics. Completing these courses gave me the knowledge I needed to get an A in Student Teaching. Upon completing my Student Teaching, I observed many other teachers to gain more ideas and methods in managing a classroom.
