I attended a preparatory school in Junior High and High School. I then went on to Mississippi College where I obtained a Bachelor degree in Home Economics with an emphysis on Fashion Merchandising. When I became a mom, I decided to home school my kids so that I could take an active part in their education and I could guide them in ways that someone else might not find interesting or important.
I love to learn and everyone learns differently. I believe that if the information is not being understood one way, then we need to find another way to instruct. I graduated from Northeastern State University in 2008 with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching for a year at a public school. I have also tutored students in math and reading during a college course,and here at my current job as well. During college I took many science classes that were required for the Nursing program (which was my first major). A Little Bit About Me...

I volunteer at City Rescue Mission. I have tutored children with their homework for more then 6 months. I continue to work at Rose State College as a math tutor in subjects up to College Algebra. I have earned a bachelor degree from UCO in forensic science which required knowledge of Calculus.
I like to initially view the student’s way of working out the problems. This way I know what they do well and where they are making mistakes, and the places I can help them do better. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies where my areas of emphasis were Spanish, History and Family Studies. I do not have a lot of teaching/tutoring experience, but I am looking forward to expanding that type of work. My experience in this area has been in three major areas—helping out in Sunday School, teaching my father how to use the computer—which is a continuing process, and at a local high school where I worked as a para-educator.
